Memorial Day in Atlanta is marked by events like the Atlanta Jazz Festival, Stone Mountain laser show, salute to the troops and family reunions. For many this three-day weekend is the unofficial start of summer -- and higher gas prices. For many others, it's a time to honor the lives lost in battle as well as those still serving.
