Rejoice concert lovers in northern Atlanta suburbs. The Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta offers 12,146 seats, including 7,146 under a translucent fabric 'roof.' The other 5,000 seats are on the lawn. Owned by the Woodruff Arts Center, Encore Park offers a chance for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, which operates the venue, to extend its audiences by up to 12,000 a night — drawing especially from Alpharetta and the northern Atlanta suburbs.
