T.I. and Atlanta

Where Hip Hop rules

T.I., an Atlanta native and blazingly popular rapper, was known as Clifford Harris Jr. from the Bankhead neighborhood before his Hip Hop stardom. With numerous hits in music charts, the songwriter-producer made a debut with the album, "I'm Serious", in 2001. His notable collaboration includes "My Love" with Justin Timberlake. But, in fall 2007, T.I. was arrested in a Midtown parking lot for trying to buy machine guns illegally. The rapper subsequently made a plea deal with authorities and was ordered to serve a year in prison and 1,000 hours of community service. His popularity, however, hasn't been diminished. T.I. came back with a new album, "Paper Trail", that reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
