KSU goes home grown in dining hall
KSU senior Amanda Master picks the last summer vegetables with other members of PEAK, "Progressive Earth Alliance at Kennesaw" in the organic garden on part of a 55-acre property near Rydal, Ga. donated to the school in 2008. Last year KSU unveiled its new dining hall. This year it goes farm-to-table with the farm in Bartow County maintained by students who raise produce to supply the dining hall. On Aug. 12, the dining hall opened to the public. Phil Skinner, pskinner@ajc.com
