Russell Marsden, along with drummer Matt Hayward and bassist Emma Richardson, formed Band of Skulls in Southamption, England while in college. Along with Welsh trio The Joy Formidable, Band of Skulls brought some of the heaviest rock to Music Midtown. Max Blau / Special
