After Waffle House, Kid Rock hits Gwinnett Arena
According to his Web site, Ritchie's career started at age 11, as a member of the b-boy (breakdancing) group 'The Furious Funkers.' Studying the success of Run DMC and The Beastie Boys, he bought a cheap belt-driven turntable and honed his craft. In high school he often DJ'ed parties for beer.
