On the Dec. 13, 1997, episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Helen Hunt, Hanson appeared in a sketch in which Hunt and Will Ferrell hijack an elevator at gunpoint and force them to listen to 'MMMBop' as they slowly go insane.
