2008 Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductees
Macon native Hamp Swain was a pioneer in Georgia black radio and helped launch the careers of music legends Otis Redding and James Brown by giving them airtime on the radio. Known as "King Bee," Swain was Macon's first black DJ. He began his career at WBML-AM in 1954. hampswain.com
