Fall Out Boy at Arena at Gwinnett
The name 'Fall Out Boy' was chosen when the band asked the crowd in their second show what their name should be and an audience member shouted 'Fallout Boy,' the name of superhero Radioactive Man's sidekick on The Simpsons TV show. The band was unaware of the Simpsons reference. When the creators of the Simpsons learned about Fall Out Boy's name, the band feared that they would be sued. But no legal action has been taken.
