Atlanta Freedom Band concert at St Paul UMC
The Atlanta Freedom Concert Band plays their Summer Blockbuster Concert Series at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta. The Atlanta Freedom Marching Band was the inspiration of Buzz Carr, founder and first director. As he watched the 1993 Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Pride celebration, he realized that there was no marching band. Elissa Eubanks, eeubanks@ajc.com
