Star Trek's cast old and new
Karl Urban is a New Zealand actor. He is best known for playing Eomer in the second and third installments of Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. He also played Vaako in 'The Chronicles of Riddick' and the Russian assassin Kirill in 'The Bourne Supremacy.' He had lead roles in the Viking adventure 'Pathfinder' and the movie adaptation of the video game 'Doom.' Karl Urban will assume the role of Bones in the 2009 Star Trek film.
