In the 2009 Star Trek prequel film, the younger Chekov will be portrayed by Anton Yelchin. Yelchin a Russian born actor has appearing in several television roles, as well as the Hollywood films such as 'Along Came a Spider,' 'Hearts in Atlantis,'and 'Alpha Dog.' Industrial Light & Magic
