Experts: 'Night at the Museum' (mostly) on target
In the movie, the giant squid rampages early on, smashing things with its tentacles. After Larry the night guard douses it with water, the beast wraps him in a tentacled embrace. But squid aren't that lovable in real life. "Most squid are voracious and would go after anything big enough for them to capture," said Bruce Carlson, chief science officer at the Georgia Aquarium. "If a giant squid and a human were in close proximity, I'd be very afraid." VINO WONG / vwong@ajc.com
