"Absence of Malice" (1981): This story was written by former Detroit Free Press executive editor Kurt Luedtke. Sally Field plays a Miami reporter who ties Paul Newman - rightly or wrongly? - to the disappearance and possible murder of a union leader. This film examined newspaper ethics.
