Creative forces leave an impression
Metro Atlanta was fortunate to have several exhibits, as well as a couple architectural structures, add to the arts community this year. A High exhibit highlighting the works of Cecilia Beaux (including Half-tide, Annisquam River) rescued the artist from undeserved obscurity. In putting together the exhibit, former curator Sylvia Yount subtly put the American painter's career into cultural context. File photo
