MTV turns 30 in 2011
'Total Request Live' ran for 10 years on MTV, from 1998-2008. The show featured the most popular videos each day, as ranked by viewers. In addition to airing videos, special musical guests would be featured. Carson Daly, seen here at left with N Sync, was the original host of the show. MTV
