Yaarab Shrine Circus comes to town
Dr. Jennifer Neiss, an equine veterinarian with Equine Medical Associates in Douglasville, works on a horse named Bellagio. He is one of seven that performs as part of the Liberty Horses group presented by Erika Zerbini. Bellagio had his teeth floated, a process where his ever-sharpening teeth are filed down a bit. It is done ever year or two. Bellagio was sedated for the process and didn't seem to mind the work. Andy Sharp / AJC
