Before his 2009 drunken driving charges in Connecticut, actor Rip Torn had been arrested in 2006 for driving while intoxicated in Somers, N.Y., when this mugshot was taken. If this photo looks familiar, perhaps you saw it when it was used in a political ad campaign by a Cincinnati councilman. The councilman later apologized for using the photo, saying that he only wanted to depict a generic criminal and didn't mean to pick on the 77-year-old actor. New York State Police
