Rapper DMX (Earl Simmons) ended part of his run-in with the law on Dec. 30, 2008, with a guilty plea in Phoenix to one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty, one felony count of theft, and one count each of felony possession of marijuana and a narcotic drug. The charges stemmed from an August 2007 raid. As part of the plea agreement, DMX cannot own any animals. Arizona Department of Public Safety
