R&B singer Akon (Aliaune Thiam), who now lives in Atlanta, pleaded guilty Dec. 17, 2008, to a harassment charge for throwing a fan offstage at a June 2007 concert in Fishkill, N.Y. Another fan claimed she suffered a concussion when the tossed young man landed on her. Akon was ordered to do 65 hours of community service and pay a $250 fine. Town of Fishkill Police
