CLARKSTON--Somalian refuge Fuduma Mohamed talks about her ordeal through an interpreter in her Clarkston apartment on Thursday, Sept 8th. Just 19 years old, Faduma arrived in Atlanta, all by herself, covered in garb. Her face, even her hands were shielded. She didn’t want anyone to see the scars of the life she was escaping, the torture she suffered at the hands of her husband in Somalia. He went into a jealous rage and doused his young bride with kerosene and lit her on fire. Phil Skinner pskinner@ajc.com
