ATLANTA--Fulton County Commission William "Bill" Edwards makes impassioned comments as the board addresses concerns about Grady Memorial Hospital during their meeting on Wednesday, April 6th. Commissioner Emma Darnel's resolution opposing the closing of two Neighborhood Health Centers of the Grady Health Systems passed 5-2. Darnel says a high number of Grady executives are earning six-figure salaries, and that money spent on raises and consultant fees could have kept the clinics open. Phil Skinner pskinner@ajc.com
