AJC Staff Photos of the Year, 2011-- Bob Andres
Chattahoochee River --A group jumps off the "jumping rock" into the Chattahoochee River in the Palisades West area. Today is the first day of summer ( for meteorogists) and it's already hot. It made for a good day to shoot the Hooch, not so good otherwise. Heat is near record and drought in full force. Highs across metro Atlanta are expected to be in the mid-90s through Thursday before cooling ever so slightly to around 93 by the weekend. Tues, May 31, 2011 Bob Andres bandres@ajc.com
