Jani Lane (Feb. 1, 1964 - Aug. 11, 2011): The former lead singer of the band Warrant, Lane wrote three Top 40 hit singles, "Heaven," "Down Boys" and "Sometimes She Cries." Lane died of acute alcohol poisoning. Road Runner Records
