AJC Staff Photographers Best Photos of 2011
Atlanta-- The day before shooting "supermoon" which occurred when a full moon was in its closest orbit to our planet, I spent several hours to research to estimate time and exact location for the shot. I realized it was useless when my smartphone compass application did not indicate right directions. It moved so fast, and I almost failed my assignment. I was finally able to photograph the moon rising over the top of the Bank of America Plaza in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Hyosub Shin hshin@ajc.com
