AJC Staff Photographers Best Photos of 2011
This is one of my favorite photographs of the year simply because it's an unexpected view of the city I have worked in for more than 2 decades. After spending a week on a business project looking for a "shocking and edgy" view of the city that would "surprise" readers I finally came upon this image reflected in some broken glass being used as a makeshift mirror on the side of a homeless shelter on an abandoned bridge off Northside Drive. Canon EOX-1D Mark IV, 24mm, f/22 1/85 sec ISO 200. Curtis Compton ccompton@ajc.com
