Jackson - Moments after it was announced that Troy Davis was executed I took this photograph of Rev. Lynn Hopkins hugging Carolyn Bond at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison on Wednesday, Sept 21,2011. After taking the photograph, I had minutes to get the picture back to the AJC for the front page. Computer problems made an emotional situation worse and almost caused me to miss the deadline.
