How to carve a pumpkin
Drill a pattern into the face of the pumpkin using the kit's drill and poker, or the tip of a small paring knife. This will create a connect-the-dots pattern on the pumpkin's surface, making it easier to carve the pattern. KIM SMITH / ksmith@ajc.com
